My mom and brother found one of these in our garden. They decided that they should chuck it over our 10 foot fence that night. I was horrified because it seemed like a little animal (as opposed to bug). I just read up an article on them, and it suggests to throw them in a bucket of soapy water “to destroy” them.
I guess this says something about how we view life…or how I view life. The bigger the creature is, the more important it’s life seems to be. This doesn’t seem to be a very good outlook, but I’m still horrifed. I could see the silhouette of the caterpillar against the streetlights.
